BATISMO E CONFIRMAÇÃO!!

This week was such a success!!! Full of blessings and miracles!! We were able to baptize Josimara and we were also able to confirm Andrews! Andrews was taught by other Sisters and was baptized in January, but he had never returned to church since then to be confirmed. We were also able to get his father to come to church too (he doesn't like the branch president and always said that he wouldn't return to church until president was released, but we're awesome and we were able to convince him!)!

We taught Josimara every day during the week even though she lives kinda far and we had to ride the ônibus for 30 min to Ayrton Senna and 30 min back every day. She is awesome! We actually found out that she had broken up with her boyfriend who was less-active and she said that she wanted to be baptized and wanted to stay strong in the church on her own. Her grandma is a recent-convert and she was super happy at the baptism. We were also teaching Josimara's little sister Ester, but she ended up visiting her dad for dia dos pais (Father's Day was yesterday here). But Josimara will be confirmed next Sunday and Ester will be baptized too :)

Our awesome LD Elder Giancoli interviewed Gilmar this week too and he accepted to be baptized on the 16th! His wife Evanilda was super happy :)

SO HAPPY!!!

Eu amo vocês!!!

Eu Amo Colatina

This week was wonderful. Although I was a little discouraged and scared to be here in Colatina when I arrived (especially because of all of the hills), I am starting to really appreciate the time that I have to serve in this area. The members here are a lot more motivated and have been helping us and giving us more references and visiting more investigators with us. I can handle climbing all of the hills and staircases every day. And we have a lot of miracles happening here recently.

Five people came to church yesterday and the majority of them were friends of members. Irmã Delizete invited a friend (Flávia) for the first time and she loved the church and the gospel principles class. She even made a few comments during the lesson. We'll be visiting her tonight with Delizete. Also, we've been teaching a less-active (Evanilda) since she's been wanting to become active again and her husband (Gilmar) isn't a member. They came to church yesterday and Gilmar loved it, and every time that we've visited them, members have come with us. Josimara and Dulcineia are investigators who have been coming to church and have been taught for a while. They both have boyfriends who are members, but have never wanted to be baptized. We are planning to visit with Josimara and her sister this week.

Also, we have been teaching Elissangela. We met her a couple of weeks ago and she has progressed really quickly. She came to church yesterday and really liked it. She loves the Book of Mormon and every time she sees us, she asks us to mark a different part for her to read. The only problem is that she isn't married legally and her husband doesn't want to. We've been trying to meet with him too, but he works a lot and he's never at home or available when we pass by to meet with Elissangela. Hopefully, we'll be able to meet him this week.

I got to do divisions this week with Sister Carvalho! She's awesome and she's from Portugal and I learned a lot from her and she said that I've progressed a lot. I love doing divisions because they help me focus on the things that I need to improve and I always learn so much from the sisteres treinadoras.

This week was filled with miracles and I am truly grateful for the opportunity that I have to be a missionary and to see these blesssings come to pass.

Eu amo vocês!!!
